60V three-wheeler electric vehicle battery

As part of Audi's initiative to repurpose its electric car batteries for use in electric three-wheelers in India, my team designed and built the first prototype battery pack.
I adopted a structural battery approach in which the battery VDA modules provide structural support. The battery was designed to withstand the vibration and temperature fluctuations commonly experienced on Indian roads, ensuring its reliability and performance.
With a capacity of 10 kWh, the battery offers a range of 120 km for the three-wheeler. In addition to promoting the reuse of batteries, the project aims to create job opportunities for women in India by providing vehicles to selected female entrepreneurs in villages to transport the goods they produce. The first set of vehicles are deployed in Kenchenahalli Village in Karnataka in February 2024.

Nanogrid Systems

5 kWh-15 kWh systems for nano-grid applications using Audi etron VDA modules. One of the systems was used to power a village market consisting of 50+ small shops in Uttar Pradesh.
